Theory of Personal Needs systematizes the relationships between Personal Needs, Feelings, Goods, Services, and Actions that meet these Personal Needs. The postulates of the Theory are a new modern view of the origin of emotions and feelings. The Theory has high validity. Based on the Theory, technologies with real practical results have been created and applied.
Theory of Personal Needs
Look at the table of interconnection between senses, Personal Needs and satisfactors in Theory of Personal Needs. In the column “Personal Needs” are listed all of the human Personal Needs by groups:

To the left, in the column “sense of satisfying the need/when it is satisfied” are given senses, which occur in humans in the moment of satisfying the Personal Need and when it is satisfied for a long time. Every sense strictly matches specific Personal Need.
More to the left, in the column “sense of unsatisfied need” are given senses which occur in humans when their Personal Needs are not satisfied.
This is a complete list of Personal Needs and senses associated with the satisfaction (closing) of Personal Needs. And senses emanating from a lack of satisfaction of Personal Needs.
This list of Personal Needs is finite! No other Personal Needs. It may seem that the list of human Personal Needs is endless. I.e. a person consumes, consumes and consumes all the time, receives money and consumes again, things have gone better, he buys more and more expensive things and consumes and consumes everything ... But no, from the point of view of psychology, the list of human Personal Needs is strictly limited. All human Personal Needs are equally important and equal. And building hierarchies and dependencies between them is not confirmed by research (Maslow and Murray's theories)..
There are individual priorities in a person for closing needs. As a rule, when choosing a product or service, in a situation of limited resources (money, time ...), a person will choose a need closer to the top of the list. For example, a director who owns an apartment and does not have money to make a film will not sell it (the apartment) and will not cover his Personal Need for creativity, since ownership of real estate closes his Personal Need - of security. And if that happens, we will call such a person crazy. And we will be right. Since society has its own generally accepted opinion about how these Personal Needs should be prioritized. The internal conformity of the generally accepted prioritization of needs is what we call human sociality. Mismatch - asociality. That is, what we used to call "common sense" is the prevalence of one Personal Need over another. The priority of Personal Needs above each other, proposed in the table, will be true in a survey of a significant number of people on BIG DATA. For a single person, priorities can be swapped.
The first and most important is food, water, sleep, sex.
The second most important are security needs.
The third is social need for communication.
Fourth are the needs for respect and success.
And only fifth need for self-expression!
The table analyzes the feelings that we have when satisfying and dissatisfying each specific Personsl Need.
What do we see from the table? All our fears concern only the second, third and fourth level of Personal Needs. Apparently, they would relate to the first - the physiological level of Personal Needs. But in order to get rid of them, we cunningly united in civilization and it saved us from fears of not getting physiological needs. Thus, the desire to close the Personal Needs of levels 2-4, is the desire to get rid of fears and pains. And at the same time, on the contrary, not closed Personal Needs of 2-4th levels give rise to fears and pains in us. These Personsl Needs of the 2nd - 4th levels are highlighted in bold in the table.
All our quarrels and conflicts are due to violation of each other's Personal Needs. Violating any of the Personsl Needs of the 2nd-4th levels, we cause feelings of fear or pain in a person, and it, accordingly, will be transformed into anger and irritation towards us.
The same thing happens in relation to social and political events. After all, we do not feel fear or pain for scientific theories, conclusions, lectures when we realize their essence. No, on the contrary, it makes us feel happy.
All our negative reactions and feelings, unexpressed negative feelings are generated by fears or pains. And these fears and pains are caused by not closed Personal Needs, the complete and final list of which is given in this table.
I.e. when a quarrel occurs or a relationship is strained, it means that you are violating by your behavior the closing of the Personal Needs of another person. But, if you take the time and establish what these Personal Needs are, with a probability of 99.9% you will find ways to meet them in the most rational way for yourself. Thus, everyone will be happy.
And here I would like to return to what I said at the very beginning: the Personal Needs are finite LIMITED number, moreover, the table defines all of them and fully describes their relationship with our feelings. From the moment we know that there is a finite list of Personsl Needs, it becomes easier for us to find them. We are not looking for them in an endless list of requirements of our desires, we know for sure what they are and what their final number is.

We are constantly creating each other an image of the infinity of Personal Needs. And since infinity is too much for a person, it scares us. And it often seems easier for us to leave the problem out of agreement. Because we are afraid of infinity and uncertainty. So no, from that moment everything is determined. All Personal Needs are described and have absolutely clear boundaries. Aware of this, we can be more objective in identifying the Personal Needs of our OPONENTS in conversations (relatives, friends, colleagues). Understanding their Personal Needs better, we can satisfy them with great quality.
Smart consumption. Proceed from your Personal Needs and you can not only save, but also distribute your budget more rationally. And get more happiness. We never formulate our own Personsl Needs, do not describe them, do not establish a logic between Prrsonal Need and desire. For example, I want a certain product “A”. It is expensive. And I will buy cheaper goods “B”. What Personsl Needs were covered by the first desire and what were covered by the second. Is it possible to understand the Personsl Needs that were covered by the goods “A” and cover them with a cheaper product or service, for example, goods “B” + “C” + “G” in the amount cheaper than one product “A”? We do not track how long this or that purchase satisfies our Personsl Needs. Psychologists say: give yourself gifts as often as possible, and which ones, and how often? After all, everyone has this term, most likely different for different Personal Needs. Over time, we will answer these questions.
The classification proposed in this theory implies the following: the list of Personal Needs given in this theory is complete and finite. No other human Personsl Needs exist anymore. The dissatisfaction with each specific Personal need causes a specific negative feeling, given in the table. And only him. Dissatisfaction with this particular Personal Need does not cause any other feelings. Personal Needs of a person do not have national, historical, climatic, geographical, gender, age or social characteristics. Each person has the needs listed in the list, and each person has their complete list. And the same for everyone.
In this theory, a descriptive sign is the systematization of feelings, Personal Needs, goods, services, actions and the establishment of clear relationships between them. The described system is complete, final and self-sufficient.
Each product, service, action closes one or more Personal Needs.
If you close all the Personal Needs of a person, a feeling of satisfaction and happiness comes.
All negative feelings (Anger, Guilt, Rage, Sadness, Sloth, Inattention to something, Indifference, Despair, Resentment, Envy, Aggression, etc.) are the result of fear or pain arising in the absence of closure of a particular Personal Need. There are no negative feelings that do not correspond to at least one of the fears or pains from the Theory Personal Needs table. The list of which is complete, finite and given in the Table.
All positive feelings are the result of satisfied Personal Needs. There is no positive feeling that does not correspond to at least one satisfied Personal Need. The list of which is complete, finite and given in the Table.
The complexity of satisfaction. Is satisfying a Personal Need with a single product, service or action sufficient? Or should it be a complex, and if a complex, then what should be included in it?
Degree of satisfaction. Is the Personal Need fully satisfied, or partially satisfied?

How can I use this Theory?
For myself personally. Buying each product, try to answer the question: what Personal Needs from the list of our theory does the product cover? Firstly, you will find a lot of interesting insights on the topic of how toothpaste can cover “belonging to society”, or ... As a result, it turns into a whole game in a store or when choosing on the Internet. Try it, it's interesting!
What can it give? Perhaps, and most likely, this will help to make a more accurate choice of a product or service that more accurately meets an unclosed Personal Need. Or, for example, unexpectedly replace one product with another one or two cheaper, but covering the same Personal Need.
When one product, service or action covers several Personsl Needs, a cumulative effect occurs that enhances our desire to possess this “precious”. This is often used by marketers in their work. Emphasizing in their advertising campaigns the attention of the consumer that the product covers more than one of his Personal Needs, they strengthen our desire to possess this particular product.
And so there is a marketing bias towards sellers who understand our Personal Needs more than ourselves. Expressed in an increase in the flow of banknotes from our pockets to their pockets. Understanding and formulating our Personal Needs will allow us to more accurately and consciously make a choice - to spend money.
Reflecting on Personal Needs, we can clearly establish the product, service or action that we currently need. For this, a person does not have to have a scientific degree or be a psychologist. He himself or his interlocutor can answer this question. If there is trust in the interlocutor. When a person has clearly formed his Personal Need (based on the list given in the Table), he can confidently name a product, service or action that will close it to him.
The systematization given in this theory allows you to use the final list of Personal Needs by choosing from it. And do not look in the crazy ocean of terms without a compass.
In the treatment of addictions of all kinds. It is known that all substance dependencies have two aspects. Chemical and psychological. Mankind knows how to remove the chemical aspect: withdrawal from a drug addict is removed in a week, alcoholic binge in three to four days. But! Then the rehabilitation period begins. There are no definite treatment methods yet. Hundreds of years of experimentation. Recently, psychologists have increasingly spoken out about the cause of dependence in some unmet human needs. But what are they and where to look for them? This theory just offers the exact final list of Personal Needs. We will find and formulate the unclosed Personal Needs of the patient, find a way to satisfy them, and perhaps the patient will stop looking for a substitute for satisfying Personal Needs with psychoactive substances.
Planning. Having determined his unclosed Personal Needs by himself or with friends, a person can make a clear final list of goods, services and actions he needs. And having such a list, he can draw up a clear plan for the achievement of these goods, services and activities. Using this plan, he will not be distracted by unnecessary goods and services. This will allow you to concentrate on what is really necessary. Save time, money and other resources. Having closed all his real Personal Needs, a person becomes happy.
What is this theory about:
We live in a chaos of emotions, feelings, needs, goods, services and actions. A sea of terms with millions of interconnections between them. This theory is aimed at describing and systematizing the relationships between feelings, Personal Needs, and goods, services, and actions that close these needs.
HOW IT WORKS:
Here is an incomplete list of negative feelings: Anger, Guilt, Rage, Sloth, Inattention to something, Sadness, Indifference, Despair, Resentment, Envy, Aggression, etc.
Any negative feeling is triggered by fear or pain. And fear or pain, in turn, comes from one of the 16 unclosed human Personal Needs. From that very final list from the table Theory of Personsl Needs. From that very greasy frame.
It remains to understand what Personal Needs fear relates to. And here about a miracle! If we ask ourselves: - "what kind of unrequited Personal Need is this fear?". And we will sort through these Personal Needs one by one, we will feel (the Personsl Need will respond) and we will establish it. The same thing can be done together if your relationship is trusting enough. Perhaps this can be done in the therapeutic group. After finding an unclosed Personal Need, it is necessary to come up with a method for its satisfaction (closure) based on the available objective capabilities of the person.
